Accreditation expert: Validation and Verification (ISO/IEC 17029), Inspection (ISO /IEC 17020) and Product Certification (ISO/IEC 17065)

Within the framework of its international cooperation, the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) supports partner countries in the systemic development and strengthening of their quality infrastructure. In this context, the bilateral Ukraine Project 2026-2028 will organize and implement an internal audit (IA) of the National Accreditation Body of Ukraine (NAAU), to support its preparation for the peer evaluation by the European Accreditation (EA) which is scheduled in May 2027. The IA will cover all the accreditation schemes in which NAAU is active, will be remote, and is expected to take place in the period September to December 2026. The bilateral Project with the Republic of Moldova will also organize and implement an internal audit (IA) of the National Accreditation Body of Moldova (MOLDAC), to support its preparation for the peer evaluation by the European Accreditation (EA) which is scheduled for February/March 2027. The IA will cover the following accreditation schemes: testing laboratories, calibration laboratories, medical laboratories, inspection bodies, product certification bodies and management systems certification bodies. It will be held on-site in Moldova and is expected to take place in the period May to September 2026.
